2015: Facilitated a weekly poetry workshop for mothers living at Concourse House, Home for Women and Their Children, Bronx, NY.  

 

2015:  Art teacher, Jacob’s Place, Bronx, NY.

 

2011-present:  Poetry and Performance Literacy Project. Concourse House: Home for Women and their Children.  Teach after-school program in poetry writing and performance. Create booklets of childrens’ poetry and host open mic readings of their work for shelter staff & families. Facilitate teen mentoring.

                                   

2009-11:  My Life: From Page to Stage! Theatre Arts Program, Concourse House. Directed after-school children with teen volunteers, journaling and performing their stories.  Created a video documentary of their work and facilitated a screening and performance for families.

 

2007-09:  Pages on Stages! Theatre Arts Program, Concourse House.  Directed children age 3-12 adapting and performing stories about self-esteem, peer pressure and community.  Created ten-minute video about the project.
